What do the Touch A Life children love more than almost anything? Books! We recently held a mini-book fair at the Care Center in Ghana with a shipment of donated books from International Book Project<\/a>. Thank you to Susan Polous for facilitating this gift! Our staff and volunteers unpacked the boxes of books, organized them by reading levels, and then allowed the children to look through them all and take back to their rooms all of the titles they selected! It was a beautiful moment to see each child curled up with his or her new book, and they took special care to write their names inside, proclaiming the books to be their own! Susan was also kind enough to select a special book for each child with a personal note. What a special treat!<\/p>\n
