For the past six months, Kim Lewis of Vagabond Designs<\/a> has been working with the Touch A Life and Rapha House teams to turn an old house boat into an Art Healing Center named Selah<\/a>. Selah will be a place of healing and creativity for girls rescued from sex trafficking in Cambodia. Our design team will be traveling at the end of February to finish construction and decorate the new space, but there is still work to be done before they leave!<\/p>\n

Choosing the paint colors was one of the first big steps. “Paint selections are being made to stay in alignment with the culture – the brighter the better!” said Kim.<\/p>\n

\"EXTERIOR<\/a><\/p>\n

The interior walls will be kept a bright white in order to keep the artwork created by the girls at Rapha House as the focal point. The ceiling will be painted aqua blue to symbolize hope – when the girls look up they will feel\u00a0the hope of an open sky or the reflection of the water that surrounds them.<\/p>\n

We can’t wait to share more as the design comes together!<\/p>\n
