Grief, and the journey to find purpose in it, is at the core of the Touch A Life story<\/a>, but we are never prepared to grieve again. This past September, the Touch A Life Care Center<\/a> family lost one of our own. Joseph G. passed away from a sudden illness at the age of 16, leaving his twin brother Jacob and the rest of his Touch A Life family mourning the loss of this wonderful young man.<\/p>\n

In honor of Joseph’s life, we are planning a small prayer garden at the center of the Care Center campus in Kumasi. The garden will include a small hut for shade, several benches, with new trees and flowers planted around the hut. Offering a quiet and beautiful place for the Touch A Life children, staff, and volunteers to remember Joseph will bring healing to many broken hearts. It will also stand in community with other legacy project buildings<\/a> that make up our Care Center.<\/p>\n

It is our goal to raise $5,000 for this prayer garden project<\/strong> and have it completed by the end of 2016. If you would like to contribute to this project in honor of Joseph, you can make a donation online<\/a> and write “Prayer Garden” in the donation notes.<\/p>\n
